Help Purchasing a Notebook/Laptop....

Hi ,

I am a total newbie when it comes to laptops as i've never ever bought one nor have i ever enquired about one but i've have been using desktop PC's for quite a long time now .

I am planning to buy a laptop as it is easier to carry it along . So i need your help in letting me choose a good one .


Now this is what i am looking for in the laptop =>


Processor => Intel or AMD , whichever is better and fastest

Operating System => Does'nt Matter , Have my own original copy

Memory => Minimum 1024 MB

Video Card => Onboard card would do , am not much of a gamer

Internal Hard Disk => Minimum 80 GB

Optical Drive => DVD Writer

Display Size => 15.4"

Wireless LAN Card

Low on Weight

High on battery backup

Fast Performance
