I'm seriously thinking about getting the M1710 (modified) for my next lappy, but I'll have to sell my desktop(s) and my current lappy to get it. (Dell 8600)

I have read some good reviews (mostly) and I wanna see what ya'll thought about it. I want something that will play today's games and be compact enough to handle while I'm in Japan until I retire in '09. Any other comparable lappy's out there that might fit my bill better? of course the standard item apply:

2GB ram
dedicated GPU
XP home/pro (NO VISTA)
cpu speed can vary
100GB or better hhd space

and I do want something that will be with a warranty in case something does happen since I am going to be gone.

only issue that its got Vista, and an 8400gs, but theres an option for an 8600m gt which could play some games....

or u could try Cyberpower for a laptop..
