Default Centrino duo vs. Core2 Duo.

Hey all, I'm in the market for a new notebook and I have a quick question: What's the difference between the Centrino Duo processors and the Core 2 Duo processors? What are the pros and cons of each? Thanks for any help!

I'm guessing that you read the heading of this article.

yeah centrino is just the combination of pieces that make up a standard created by intel. just like intel viiv is the "multimedia" standard they created. centrino technology, from my understanding, means that your computer is equiped with the right technology to have wireless freedom. and i believe its supposed to help with prolonged battery life, better wifi connection, and a faster yet more efficient processor which in turn would make your laptop a better suit for anyone.
