Do I Need A Dos Driver If I Wanted to Copy Files
From A Prompt To a zip drive with a startup disk and where can I get this disk driver. What I wanted to do was put a startup disk(DOS DRIVER) in my floppy, hook up a zip drive and with the dos driver disk in my floppy copy the files to my hardrive onto the zip. somebody said the only way you can do that is if you had a dos driver disk. this is in case nothing works where i can get those specific files off that hardrive The zip isthe last resort . Please just answer the question directly and give me a alternative also if need be. Because i already know you can make a slave and see the files on another computer.I just want to know how to do the question i asked you. What if the drive is so bad you cant even see or copy the files if you put it in another computer as a slave .But if you use the dos driver you just might see the files or be able to copy them
