Those are very, VERY expensive... 32GB is the only capacity available, and they retail for around 500.

At the moment yes but that will change rapidly, in a couple of years the only mechanical drives being made will be legacy and for budget systems.

I expect we won't see mainstream 10k drives, we may not even see hybrid drives, though if we do it will only be for a brief transitory period.

Not for a few years....7200 became standard only a few years ago as well.

yes $500 is what your prepared to pay or a graphics card but not a hdd people change there priorities and seeing as my HTPC is not going to have a graphics card I think a flash disk would be great to own lol when I buy this pc I will tell you guys how well they work and if it has a great improvement over the seagate barracuda 1tb I'am also planning to put in it
