Default When are processors going to be cheaper??

Been looking around at chips over the Q6600 and they all seem to be really expensive. Anyone know when intel is gonna throw out a new wave of chips that would cause a price drop??

Usually at quarter price drops, but they aren't going to drop that much

The prices stay at a point and they won't drop down to like $50 you know, maybe 10 years later.

Well I wasn't meaning a huge huge drop. But the Q6600 is like $200-$240, then the next one up is over $300
