well it's socket A, so it takes Athlon XP's but i'm not sure if it has restrictions on what speed you can put in

I found it, says it supports up to 3000+

ekÃ†sine Wizard Techie Join Date: Jul 2003 Posts: 3,940	apok where did you find that info? the manufacturer websites says it has: CHIPSET VIAÂ® KM266 (NB) & VT8233 (SB) Chipset from http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbdetails...el=m7vig+pro+d which means the max processor should be a XP2600+ and below excluding the barton XP2500+. even than you would need a BIOS update or manually set your processor FSB and frequency.

I googled up a site that was in excel format, and it said that it supported up to 3000
