Case: HP pavilion thingy mobo: HP crap cpu: amd athlon 1.3 Ram: 2X512 Kingston Grapfic: 32 mb HP thingy dvd: The one who come with HP cd writer: HP hd's: 40 G orig + 250 G WD Screen: Samsung syncmaster 193T Project. Low cost: Case: Thermaltake Xaser Tsunam black mobo: abit kv7 cpu: AMD Athlon XP 3200+ 640kb 400FSB Ram: Not bought jet. Grapfic: PowerColor Radeon X800XL 256MB GDDR3 AGP8X (and yes i have read what most here say about it) dvd: Plextor px-130a dvd burner: Plextor DVD-brenner PX-716A IDE HD's: Not bought jet. Want: Western Digital Raptor 74GB SATA 8MB 10000RPM And for storage: Western Digital Caviar 320GB SATA 8MB 7200RPM Have i miss any?

| currently there are 2 systems in the house: my POS system: Pentium 3 933MHZ Nvidia TNT2 Pro 32MB 1GB (1x512 + 2x256) PC133 SDRAM Gigabyte 6VXE+ F9 slot 1 (died) replaced by Gigabyte 60XM7E socket 370 slot 1 to socket 370 converter (no-longer being used) silver floppy drive 21" Sony CRT Lian-Li PC-V1000 I spend more money on my case than my internal parts, and also on the monitor. stupid Work hasn't been putting me on, so I'm gonna find a better job so I can upgrade the main parts family computer AMD Athlon XP 2800+ 512MB PC3200 Kingston cheapo RAM Nvidia FX-5200 MSI KM4M-V 52x CD burner (Sony CRX220E1) 16x DVD burner dual layer (LG 4163B) some random floppy drive 17" CRT random case from "SHAW"

 |  video card help if you read my profile u see that i have a P3 that i fix up after someone threw it out. it runs great i have 1024 MB of SDRAM but my only problem is playing games. i have an ATI 7500 64MB DDR PCI. when i try to play homeworld or homeworld2 the game starts off ok but then it starts to slow down, like watching a movie in slow motion. i hate it. my board support AGP 4x. what is a decent graphics card to put in there that is not too expensive. i know you're all thinking build a better system, well that is coming as soon as i buy all of the components. |
