|  usb port problem one of my front usb ports has trouble detecting devices plugged into it. at first it will connect then the windows connect and disconnect sounds play about 3 times then the device doesnt show up. All my other usb ports work.

 | Re: usb port problem Check the connection on the motherboard for that specific port. Plug in and plug out the drive multiple times while the computer is off to clean contacts.

| Re: usb port problem I don't know which plug on the mobo it is theres just a whole bunch that plug in and lead up under this metal piece in the case

| Re: usb port problem look for the big thick cable...that has a double connector, and goes to a header labeled USB

| Re: usb port problem sort of it still does malfunction a little bit but the connection was loose, also I think the cable is damaged but don't know how to fix it
