 |  Stirling Engine on a chipset? Hey guys. I don't post threads alot, just keep answering them. But today I stumbled upon this very interesting post. It is about a stirling engine, I think it runs off heat and the air and it is powerful enough to drive a fan to cool the hot chipset. It's like free energy from the chipset's waste heat. | Re: Stirling Engine on a chipset? The downside is that the piston's air needs to be at 60C to start the fan moving therefore if you are using an overclocked cpu it might fry in the microseconds whilst the air in the piston is warmed.
