sound card

alright
i am going to buy a new speaker system if i buy these speakers
i can buy this sound card

but if i buy this set of speakers
i cant get the sound card
the current card i have now is 5.1 channel capable but the card is pretty old
should i go with option 1 and buy the card and speakers or option 2 and buy just the speakers?

alright i solved my problem ill get both anyways, the best speakers with the audigy =) that works, but either way id like to know which is better and how essential sound cards are

i'd say that both a good set of speakers and a good sound card can make a world of difference. when i upgraded my speakers, i heard great sound improvment, then i upgraded my soundcard and heard even more improvment in the sound. a decent set of speakers and a decent soundcard are a good investment. of course, i am sort of an audiophile who rips his cd collection at or higher than 256 bitrate.
