Question which socket 939 baord?
which one of these two boards you guys think is best?

Don't even have to look at the boards (although I did) but I would personally go with ASUS.
Gigabite was mildly overpriced and had a little "extra" that you may not need. (2 LANs which is great and all.....but I'd rather have one 10/100 LAN and spare the extra 10/100, buy a 10/100/1000 card) (also 2 COMs?!?! come on......LOL)

Hog wash, its all about the asus. Same if not better quality and cheaper.

the gigabyte shows 1600mhz capability which i don't know if the asus has

and the Nforce chipset is better than the VIA

go with the asus, the gigabyte one has a lot of features you dont need and asus has the proven quality.

the nforce chipset doesnt have the quality that via has though...asus all the way
