| Yes, you can use a X2 CPU, but it might require a BIOS update. No, 939 and AM2 are two totally different animals.

| EagleMod | Yes, socket 939 and AM2 are physically different. You MIGHT be able to get the processor to fit into the socket (after breaking off pins and whatever), but don't expect it to work.
