| Re: Skulltrail motherboard newegg at newegg This offers no plus in 3D synthetic benchmarks or gaming whatsoever, 8 cores had no effect in 3DMark cpu score - and I doubt you'll see much of an improvement in games either, if at all - I remember seeing a review where performance actually decreased when using a skulltrail board this is really good for servers and workstations though

| Re: Skulltrail motherboard at newegg Nah it was a different bench. I can't for the life of me remember where i read it. But it was comparing quad sli on the 780i and skulltrail, and the 780i had almost 25% better framerates compared to the skulltrail. Partly because its not a real nvidia chipset, and partly due to the FB dimms you have to use on the skulltrail.
