Default Silly Floppy Drive!

Hey, I just spent hours typing an essay for school to find out my floppy drive is acting silly. I can't think of another way to get it to school, other than burn it to a CD. I would prefer NOT to waste an entire CD on 12kb of text lol! If you have any suggestions, please feel free to toss em at me.

cds are cheap, and if you use a cd-rw, you can reuse it later for something else. to me, cd-rs are next to floppies.

I wish! We aren't allowed to log onto any online accounts at my school. Thanks anyway, I guess I will just waste a CD.

You need to make sure the floppy drive is connected correctly... The twist in the ribbon should be closest to the floppy drive itself.

Funny, someone wrote a "how to" on the subject..

Lol, it is connected properly. It was working about 2 weeks back. No big deal, I just used a CD. I don't think its the drive, I think it is the disk.

It could be the "floppy" disk. If sector 0 gets damaged the "floppy" will stop working.. Never keep "floppies" near cordless phones, microwaves, TVs, or your monitor. They don't last too long when they obtain interference.

2 options:

#1: Go to http://s9.yousendit.com/

Send to yourself and write down the download link u get to ur e-mail.

#2: Go to http://www.imageshack.us/

Rename the .doc file to .jpg or .gif, uplaod it and write down the URL. Save at school and rename back to .doc

This works!
