Default Separating audio from a video file

Now here's another question: how do you separate the song from a video file? I like to burn it on my CD so I can play it in my car but the original file with the song in it is from a Youtube video. I have the whole video downloaded, but I want the sound instead of the video part. What software is used to do this?

Enter the youtube website.
Convert to mp3 and send to email.
