Hello,

I have a DELL DIMENSION 3000 desktop. I would like to connect 2 LCDs to it but it is not possible. With the current video card (Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller [Display adapter]) only 1 monitor can be connected. I do not know which video cards my computer supports. Can anyone recommend me a reliable but cheap video card that is compatible with my desktop?

Your computer only has PCI slots. This card if $40, and your PSU should be able to handle it.

The card has a VGA and a DVI port. If both of your monitors are VGA, be sure to get a DVI to VGA adapter.

Thanks for the quick reply! I would like to connect two samsung syncmaster225bw LCDs to my desktop. This model has a 1680x1050 resolution. Does the recommended video card support this resolution?

yup, that card can go as high as 2048 x 1536, oh and i have a synmaster LCD, best monitor ive ever purchased

It requires a 300 watt power supply. Make sure your computer's PSU is at least that.

so if my computer is at least 300 W power supply, i should be fine???
