Question Ram Problem

if i have a motherboard made for ddr400(3200) ram do u think i would be able to put ddr433(pc3500) ram into it and it would still run effectivly?

I think it would run, just at the rate the motherboard would support... so not getting its full use

it will run fine, you just wont use your ram to its potential efficiency.

in other words the speed gets clocked down to 400.
and most likely your motherboard is runnin @ 400 if thats what you bought.

If you haven't bought it, just get a DDR400 disk so you don't pay more than you need to (you'll just get the same speed)
