| quick ram question aight guys quick question bout this ram...is it single channel or dual channel... http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...144-305&depa=0
cause i got a stick of it thinking it was single channel 512 mb stick but for some reason the gigabyte mobo is registering it at 256

| You can run any RAM DIMM's dual channel as long as they are identical DIMM's(brand, size, speed) and if your mobo supports it.....
If you bought only 1 stick, you obviously can't run it dual channel  As for why it is only 256mb I dunno

| O ya not to mention the fact that my Battlefield Vietnam loads slow as cr@p
and im running a AMD 64-bit 3400, geforce 6800, (the stick i thought was 512mb ram) on a 120 gb SATA hd...so personally i think that vietnam should load fast...very fast....just my opinion tho

| Have you gone into Control Panel, then System and seen what it reads?
If its still 256mb, then check the packaging, does it say 512mb?
Maybe its a manufactor mixup or something Newegg did?
