3 most likely causes: broken/disconnected power switch, damaged motherboard, dead power supply. out of these the most likely is the dead power supply.

Well, I fried my comp, and not sure exactly where

I was putting a new hd in and when i plugged everything back in, there was no power.

Bought a new supply, still no power

I rebuilt an old computer, and tried the supplies (old and new) and no problems. Checked the power switch, and seems to be ok.

What else could it be, what must i do to fix it.

Help please

Cheers,

One shop told me to pull all components off the motherboard except the video card see if it works then...... if it doesnt.... what do i do????

How much will a mother board cost?
Is there any easier way of checking?

Thanks guys
