Where we will use Serial port and where we will use parallel port?????????????????

serial: old mice, data communications (old modems...)
parallel: printers

Basically, they are used for the old stuff.
I find them a waste of a port, cause my printer runs off of USB.

What I use my paralell for

Using a paralell to SCSI adapter for a 2 gig jaz drive

Yes, USB is serial.

In fact, USB stands for Universal Serial Bus.
