PCI Express 2.0 x16 questions...

Ok, I am saving for a new computer and I am trying to put together a list of parts with a price so I know what I'm shooting for. Anyways I noticed that most good video cards are PCI Express 2.0 x16 and most motherboards are just PCI Express x16. So my question is can a PCI Express 2.0 x16 video card be used in a PCI express x16 motherboard?

Yea, you won't notice a difference in 2.0 at this time anyway.

yes, PCI-E 2.0 is backwards compatible.
They'd be stupid not to make them backwards compatible.
