Partition HD after OS Install?

Can you partition a HD after the OS has been installed? I have Windows XP Pro installed on a desk top and would like to make the HD partitioned into (2) different partitions...

I think to partition generally results in loss of data. If you have a GHOST type program, you may be able to ghost the OS, partition, and GHOST it back to the chosen partition.

You can do it with Partition Magic.

Yes you can but not using windows - you need a 3rd party software.

Any Free software out there..... I like Partition magic but you have to pay for it...
