OK, I got my external HD all setup and it seems to work fine, anything i need to do

its all setup, the jumper is on master and i can get to it and it says it is empty. Do I need to do anyhting else to it or is it good to go. I want to backup all my important stuff then reformat C and reinstall windows. should I wait a while to make sure this external keeps working or can i do it soon.

if it works now then itll work 2 hours later when u finish installing windows... as long as u dont drop it or something
