| Im wondering does anyone know if I can I use a OEM recovery disk from one computer company to a completely different OEM computer. One is alienware, while the one which I want to recover is an old compac presario. |

| Most have the Drivers built in to the recovery disks an unless the machine is close to the other one specification wise you will get BSOD. Having said that some places still (or used to ) ship the OS an Drivers seperatley.
