Default li ion batteries; new needed?

Hi

My laptop battery seems a bit quirky. Won't last long (5-10 mins), though it says it's fully charged. I guess I have not treated it very well, by almost always plugging in the power supply.

Would it be better in future for the battery to take it out and use my laptop like a desktop?

If so, should I leave a battery in storage fully charged, or empty?

Should I store it on the charger?

Can I rejuvenate it by running it right down, and charging it up again?

Has anyone tried recharging it in a freezer?

Don't put it in a freezer. The best thing to do is to let it run down and recharge it repeatedly, although this might not work with yours, as it doesn't seem to have much life left. When storing, leave it charged.
