Default Hunt and seek for the Phenom TLB bug

We've basically all heard of the TLB bug present in Phenom processors.
But, how many people have actually had the bug cause any problems?

well, a member called Schakal at a portugese forum has set out to systematically hunt down for the TLB bug.
A translation is available at the xtremesystems forum

Basically, he found that the only time he ever came across the TLB bug, was in VMware, with Cool'n'Quiet enabled, and with all four cores at 100% load, and 4 virtual programs.

Running one OS, the bug never occurred. Ever. Even with the same 4 programs.

After disabling Cool'n'Quiet, the TLB bug also never occurred. Even with VMware, and all cores maxed out, and the same 4 programs.

You will also find many people with Phenom processors, who report no issues with the TLB bug.
For example, a user called AMDDeathstar at XS:

I've had two Phenom 9500's since Nov.26
One crunching at stock speeds full load-> NO TLB CRASHES

The other one been overclocked
been running at 2772Mhz since Dec.27
TLB fix disabled
running games, benchies and crunching-> NO TLB CRASHES

If I had TLB crashing I don't my Phenom would have made it to 32nd spot on Riesel Sieve Boinc for daily RAC in less then a week
