Default How long will cpu fans last?

I remember seeing somewhere that they can last 5k hours? that seems low...I'm using the stock hs/fan from amd for my 64 and got it like 5 months ago when will it die?

I dont think you need to worry about a fan dieing for a long time. But just like any other mechanical device, It can die right now or last 10 years

From what I have seen, they seem to last at least 4-5 years.

if mine dies when the comp is running chances are that the cpu will fry in 5 seconds or less
