Default How did he fit 12 hard drives in his PC?!!

Some guy wrote a letter to one of the PC magazines that I have a subscription to, and he said that he had 12 hard drives in his computer. He also said that he had 2 power supplies, I don't know about you guys but I don't have nearly that much space in my computer, how did he do it?

You can get server-sized cases, that are able to hold numerous hard drives.

Plus, the drives are most likely SCSI, which allows you to chain a bunch of drives together using interfaces that are capable of large bandwidth.

It's not uncommon for servers. My dad has 9 in the server in his office, all on a single SCSI chain.
