Got blue screen of death, went to restart and my hard drive was EMPTY

Okay i have had to reinstall again after i got a blue screen saying PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA i have had that error many times before but this time IT FORMATTED MY HDD!!! I lost EVERYTHING. Doesnt it just **** you off?

It shouldn't be a problem as any good computer owner has back ups.

And it is obvious you didn't.

There are bootable programs (Linux live maybe) that can recover data.

Time to get a new hard drive. Return that one if its still in warranty.
