700-800, i might be a bit too high though, cuz Sora can build an X2 3800+ with a 7600 GT, and since ur SLI'ed that increases teh price, good speakers and accessories (like that monitor)

That's honestly ALOT lower than I'd expect... does anyone else have any opinions. How much would you pay for this computer?

No he is right...technology has become better and fast. The move from single to dual-core and from ddr to ddr2 ram has made old parts value go waay down. Honestly I wouldn't pay more than 700 as I can build something that performs better for around that price...actually less.

It's sad I know but it happens.

That price is in the right range... I paid $1500 shipped for the parts for my gaming rig (except the X1950XT was an X800PRO when originally bought).... It is probably worth about the same right now...

Yup, that just the cost of advancing technology (and used parts... lol).

Not sure if you have gotten a brand new car yet, but this isn't anything compared to the amount a car depreciates simply by being driven off the lot immediatly after sale...
