| Hi, I'm working on a paper - the future of data storage Who are the main players in data storage (all formats from zip disk to usb key ring devices) What do you think the future of data storage is in the next 10 yrs? | First thing, Iomega is a big storage company. Secondly, storage seems to be going in many directions. There is much content you can search up regarding things like DNA computing and such. | i have hear that ibm has some great break throughs coming in magnetic storage. but they also have future plans for static storage ( all digital drives). http://www.techreview.com/articles/innovation50702.asp

| I'm waiting for the biological material based memory systems (like a brain, but man-made). Like the ship's gel-packs on Star Trek. Wonder if I'll be around to see that happen?
