Default Format Question.

Hey guys... i was reformating my mom's boyfriend computer with Fdisk... and did fdisk for acouple hours and been trying to type C: then format for awhile and it never worked and after acouple hours the Abort,Retry or Fail kept coming up i kept always hitting Abort so icould try and type Format again. nothing happens. then the message comes up again. and i hit F for Fail. then the format begins. it was kinda wierd how i hit F for Fail and it started to format.. has this happen to anyone? lol.

So you can't format? Try getting a copy of Killdisk and using that to write zeros to the drive.
