| Re: fixing dead pixels with a .gif file.... i call them "lazy pixels", yeah it can fix "lazy" or "stuck" pixels. the key word being can. it is probably only a temporary fix anyway and the pixel will eventually revert.

If the monitor is still under warrenty, see if you can get it replaced
