My sister complained that her FDD wasnt showing up under My Computer on her laptop. I checked in Device Manager and there is the FDD controller installed. I then checked start > run A:/ with a disk in the drive and it didnt work so i set the FDD to boot first in the BIOS and put in a bootdisk and it just went straight to Windows. Does this mean it would be hardware problem?
Thanks Maje! My sister just said that it was working b4 she took it back to get the motherboard replaced so maybe they didnt connect the FDD right. Seem as though its under warrenty we will take it back so they can deal with it.
