After seeing the new intel procs that beat AMD in many performance tests how many of you guys are still in love with AMD? and why?

AMD is the best.
What performance tests?
I have gone through many of them and saw AMD beat the hide out of INTEL.

AMD on value for money alone for me. It doesn't bother me about all the multimedia creativity enhancements etc. etc. that Intel supposedly boasts with the Pentium. I think for most of us non-specialists that don't require raw processing power in the ever-increasing GHz scale then AMD will always triumph. Of course I must point out that my only experience with Intel was a Pentium 1 133MHz I had in a Packard Bell!

The 775 is actually a pretty good improve, however. Why upgrade if you already have a good P4 with HT. And did you see the **** you have to go through just to install the processor?

no that's not true.. their new cpu socket that's out beats the crap out of amd's 64 bit chips.. literally.. so you guys probably haven't seen intel's newest.. I love AMD yea.. but intel is now starting to pick up where AMD has had the advantage these past few years...

AMD always has something up its sleeve for every move Intel makes.
