once again, things r further explained technically but this time i got the bold print, list of info needed to better understand what the author is trying to make, n im lazy to read everything and summarize it myself :P.

the worst piece of misinformation I see spread in enthusiast forums is how DDR3 simply picks up speed where DDR2 left off

The Fly-by topology removes the mechanical line balancing limitations of DDR2, and replaces it with an automatic signal time delay generated by the controller fixed at the memory system training.

XMP manages everything from the CPU multiplier, to voltage and front side bus frequencies.

my opinion about DDR3 is that yes it will replace DDR2 but not anytime soon. The prices r still high n unfortunately not everyone is ready to hit the DDR3 wagon yet. Until i see lower prices like DDR2 after like a year or so then ill be concern about it. Same reason i chose 32-bit over 64-bit when i was choosing between OS's of Vista Ultimate. Most ppl are suitable for 32-bit because of capable programs, softwares, n such supporting more for 32-bit. Until DDR3 n 64-bit become a standard like DDR2 n 32-bit, im staying DDR2 n 32-bit.

Good except 64 bit is used commonly and shouldn't really be compared to ddr3.
