Unhappy CD Writing Problem

Hi everyone,

Have recently purchased 100 Benq CD-R discs. Now these discs say they are 52x rated. My CD-Rw, a TSST Corp 52x writer should be able to write to these at 52x?

However, when i attempt to write to the CD-Rs at anything over 8x, i recieve a disk error message and the CD-R is then unusable.

The only other thing i have written using my CD-RW are Memorex RWs rated at 8x so i am unsure whether my problem is with the writer or the discs. I would appreciate you all sharing your opinions.

Cheers

Try not using Roxio. I have used that and sometimes it's a bit... not good...

Try going to download.com and getting "Burn4Free". Try that.
