Default Cable Questions (IDE/SATA/1394)

Hey guys,

New project I need accomplish the following
-14' IDE cables to Audio panel and CD Drive
-14' SATA cable to aux port for ext HDD if ever used
-14' 1394, Shielded cable works will just splice

From doing some research 36" is pretty much the max distance, Any way to accomplish the following? Some1 mentioned to me signal repeators but idk.

uhh, why not usb? and just have a usb to ide converter, a usb to sata converter, but they dont make a usb-to-firewire converter. but i think that firewire has a pretty high standard, so you could just get a long firewire cable. here are some links:
