Best Thermal Paste Application Methods

I noticed that a post I read couple days back someone was using the "line" method as suggested by Arctic Silver,
so just thought I'd post this interesting article I came across. Enjoy

As always, grain size in the middle, let heatsink spread it out.

I just use the line method, myself. To each his own, though I suppose.

I like the idea the thermal paste that comes with the zalman 9700 uses. It's like a bottle, kinda like fingernail polish, you just paint it on the chip lol
