Default Bent Display

Hey guys, encountered a weird problem with a computer I have been using for quite some time. The lower sides of the monitor's display, not the physical monitor itself but rather what it displays is bending at strange angles and sometimes when the computer starts up, it is so distorted that it is unusable. I have tried switching out the monitor, the graphics display and even a restore cd (similar to reformatting) but to no luck. I have never seen this problem before and it happened suddenly after I exchanged my graphics card for an older one. Is there something I'm missing?

my monitor has settings where i can bend, tilt, curve, and totally screw around with the way the picture looks... make sure its not just a setting in your monitor... you already said it has no effect.. but look harder!
