Default Audio questions

I have my comp hooked to my tv. I am able to play a movie on tv and play a game on the monitor at the same time. I am wanting to play the movie audio on the tv, and the game audio on my headset. Is there a way to do this without buying a second sound card? I have a Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx a lot,
Fred

Virtually impossible

Your consumer software will only output audio to the windows recording mixer. Only more expensive professional software with professional sound cards will achieve what you want.

He makes it sound like he wants to run the two things at the SAME time.

i agree that its impossible.

with the cost of the equipment required to perform that, you could buy a decent $150 home theatre, and use that for your PC
