Just updated my drivers as I heard about the new 'horizontal span' mode, which sounds pretty handy.

Problem is I can't get it to work. In the 'Displays Manager' menu in the control centre, when I drag my 2nd monitor to the square, and select 'stretch horizontally', 'stretch virtically', or even 'clone with CRT' my other screen goes off (from bring in 'extended' mode), it asks me if i'd like to keep my settings, and the screen icon pops back into the 'aditional displays' box.

Frustrating. Any ideas as to what might be the cause?


Using latest drivers: 5.1.2600, for Asus Radeon 600xt, dx9.0c
