8800GT SLI is better than HD3870 crossfire

I have noticed that many people here claim that crossfire scales better, and that HD3870 crossfire performs better than 8800GT SLI. And all those claims are based on one old review from experience.com

I have now a more recent benchmark that use a newer drivers, and it proves that 8800GT SLI is better than HD3870 crossfire

Wow, look how bad the GT scales past 1920x1280 though, it starts to cry big time.

That was only in one game, Call of Duty 4

In the other games, it performed very well even at 2560x1600

I'm sure that most people don't play at 2560x1600 anyway

EDIT: And please, look at the whole review before you make your final judgment next time...

You seem to forget i run SLI GTS512's, i was just suprised it tanked so hard. It wasnt a "final judgement"

I don't see any benchmark for two HD3870 in crossfire in the review you posted

Crossfire does tend to scale better, in games that actually support it. Most games are nvidia optimized moreso than ati though.

I've seen many other benchmarks between the 3780's and the 3879x2...the difference in FPS is single digit...you can't just go by one companies benches
