according to the benchmark linked, it's exactly 8.72% better than an HD3850, but I've seen Guru's overclocked HD3850 (i think it's vmodded too?) hitting over 15K in 3DMark06 which is really unbelievable, so maybe an OC'd 3850 could destroy and OC'd 8800GS? Who knows...

XFX 8800GS is now $159 only, and the overclocked version is $169 !!
