Default wireless card, HELP!!

i just had to reformat my computer and now i cant get my wireless car to work, it seems to be turned off somehow??

are you sure about that? usally it comes with a driver cd , you can download it from the manufacturer site

What type of wireless card?

Right click My Computer, properties, hardware, device mgr...tell us what is says for Wireless devices.

Or, even getting back to basics, PCMCIA, PCI or is the card not even visible? In other words, can you slide the card in an out without opening the computer? Do you have a laptop? Desktop? Which OS are you using?
