| Hi, I'm hoping someone here can help me get my display setting configured correctly. Here's the deal... I have a DELL workstation that came with an Nvidia GeForce 7300le Video card. I have a Samsung 940BW wide screen flat panel monitor plugged into the card via the digital cable (not the VGA). I have surmised that the optimum display resolution setting for my monitor is 1440 x 900 (which is not an option in my display properties dialog box). Will my video card support proper widescreen viewing? I have updated the driver and have gain no additional display resolution settings. If my video card won't support widescreen, how do I know which card will? When shopping for one (what should I look for)? It seems that under all the video card specifications I have looked at there is no widescreen capability yes / no spec. I'm running Windows XP Thanks, -Jared |
