Default Video card doesn't work with new mobo!

Hi,
I just bought a Asus K8V-X and my video which is a nVidia TNT2 doesn't work with it. It goes in windows but, detect it as a Standard VGA. I tried installing nVidia drivers but it says that it cannot detect any hardwares for the drivers. And also I installed my motherboard CD.

Can someone helps me??

BTW: My CPU is a Sempron 64 Bit 3000+

"It goes in windows"? What does that mean? If it loads windows and you get a basic display, you should be able to load the nvdia tnt drivers from their website and it should be good to go. Your mobo won't recognize the card until the drivers are properly installed. So..please help me understand: you have basic video in windows, right?

Ok... right now, windows does work and it displays properly... but, it regognise it as a "Standard VGA". And, when I try to install the nVidia drivers it says that it cannot find any drivers for my hardware. Sorry if I'm not clear...
