My desktop computer's mobo just died, and I have a new one on order. But I hate the wait, and am wondering if it is possible to use my hard drive from that computer with my laptop easily? Could someone post how?
well if you just want to access the data on the hard drive then you can buy a cheap external harddrive case that you can connect to your laptop via USB/Firewire port.

if he has the time to wait for an external HDD caddy then he has the time to wait for a new mobo
i would just put the hard drive in another Desktop computer and access the files over the network
