Cool unable to connect to internet

A friend has a wireless internet connection which says excellent signal strength and (a little) data appears to be coming and going.

But for some reason she is unable to connect to the internet at the moment using either Firefox or IE.

Does anyone have any ideas what would be causing this and ways forward to orrect it?

Have you tried reseting the router. Or going through cmd and doing a
ipconfig/release
then
ipconfig/renew

You can also shut the modem and router off for a few minutes and then turn them back on to see if it helps.

You can also use device manager to disable the wireless card and reenable to see if it resets the connections and fixs the problem.

Also you can update the routers firmware and the wireless cards driver.

Also you can simpely restart the computer.

Many different things to try.

There will come a day, such a day when all will be told more than they wish to know, what one hears may explain the past, it may explain the future, but it has never made a difference either way and it will change nothing. Some day.... But that is not this day, and I don't know when, I just don't know.
